This
is the section where some of our favorite authors will share with
us (and you) their favorite stories from among their own work. The
lovely and talented Pix mentioned this idea to me in an e-mail,
saying how she thought it might be an interesting contrast with
the typical recommendations lists so prevalent on fan fic websites.
I,
of course, immediately wondered the same thing, and so, here we
are. This will be a weekly feature, with past Authors' Picks being
archived on a page called "From
the Desk of..."
So,
let us begin...
This week, we have the lovely and talented and way
too modest Jengrrrl, author of such excellent Logan/Rogus fic as
the epic "Big Crunch" series, the wonderfully foofy "Of
Friends and Good Intentions," and my personal favorite, the
still unfinished AU "All Aboard."

Well, actually, one of my own faves
is one I haven't finished yet. LOL. It was one called "Eight
Months" - about the time between Marie running away and
being picked up by Logan - and it's been on hold for a while, but
I felt it had real potential. Other than that, I guess I would pick
"Into
the Fire" over my other stuff. A lot of things I write tend
to get away from me, but I wrote "Into" in one big block of time
and then went back to revise. It's a lot tighter than anything else
I've written for that reason. My series' suck. LOL. :) (Note:
We disagree with this last observation, or we wouldn't have asked
her to participate in this little exercise *g*)
