Date: March 26, 2004

The potion is foul, but worth it to see Sirius's eyes light up, to feel Sirius's mouth and hands on his body, even if it isn't really his body.

On some level, he wishes Sirius would notice, but that thought drowns in waves of pleasure.

They use almost the whole hour, and Sirius is drowsing when he rises, rushing for the door, which opens. Remus finds himself staring at James's face, the face he's currently wearing.

They never speak of it, but years later, when Sirius tells him that Remus is the spy, James remembers Remus's guile, and believes it.
