She stands naked in the bathroom, facing the mirror, one foot resting on the edge of the bathtub. She drops her head back, lets Faith support her, one arm across her chest, the other draped over her hip so Faith’s fingers can curl into the tangled hair of her -- Dawn still can’t bring herself to think the word. Faith teases her about it, says for a baby dyke she’s awfully straight, just like--

Faith never finishes that sentence, and Dawn is grateful even as it makes her angry.

She wishes she could be sure who it is Faith is seeing when they stand like this, naked, with Faith wrapped around her like a snake, a blanket, warm and poisonous all at once, strong, blunt fingers stroking her slick, wet flesh, circling her clit skillfully.

Then again, Dawn never tells Faith that when she closes her eyes and comes, she sees Tara.
