Danny likes watching Rusty work. Rusty is a pro, the best at what he does, really, and Danny admires professionalism as much as he admires style and grace, which Rusty has in spades.

Danny finds his eyes are drawn instinctively to Rusty's lips as he convinces the owner of the jewelry store to let them examine the safe in the back. He knows what those lips feel like against his own, how they whisper in his ear and wrap around his cock.

None of this shows on his face, of course, because he's just as professional as Rusty is, and likes to believe no one can see the heat that flares between them as they work.

Danny likes watching Rusty eat, which is a good thing, because it's something Rusty does almost non-stop. Rusty claims it's because he's always so busy working that he doesn't have time for proper meals, but Danny thinks it's just because Rusty is orally fixated, which works out great for him, so he doesn't complain.

Rusty takes a bite of his doughnut -- glazed, because Rusty likes the classics, too -- and closes his eyes in a display of near Homeric enjoyment. Danny is mesmerized by the strong, clean line of Rusty's jaw, the way the muscles clench when he chews, the way the tanned skin of his throat moves when he swallows. He's even more taken by it all in the rare moments Rusty is still, not talking, not eating, just sitting there next to him on a bench on the boardwalk, basking in the sun like some kind of acolyte of Apollo.

Danny leans forward to lick the sugar off Rusty lips, thinking that as much as he likes watching Rusty, he likes kissing him better.
