Summary: Everyone knows clowns are evil.

Notes: Thanks to Jen, Pete/Melissa, Dot, and Meg for their continued support. Written for the hp100 "Death Eaters' Day Off" challenge. Set during the first war with Voldemort.

Date: November 7, 2003

Walden Macnair was late.

"Stupid Malfoy and his stupid speeches. He's never had to work for a living."

He ripped off his Death Eater robes, quickly transfigured his plain trousers into multicolored satin pantaloons. His boots grew large and red, his shirt frilly, made of yellow and blue swatches of silk.

A flick of his wand and corkscrew curls sprung wildly from his bald scalp; another quick spell and he had his game face on.

He rushed toward the fireplace, Floo powder in hand, yelling, "Fortescue's."

Upon reaching his destination, he announced, "Wacko Wally at your service!"

The children cheered.
