Summary: Missing scene from the SoL aftermath

Date: March 27, 2003

She leans over his fallen body, unable to stop crying. Sight, sound, scent -- it all rushes in upon her, the way his life had rushed into her, and Magneto's before him, singing in her veins.

She chokes out incoherent words as the X-Men join her on the parapet. Finally, she voices the one thought wending its way through her confused brain.

"Help him."

After a brief examination, Jean lifts Logan from where he lays; she, Scott and Ororo slowly carry him down the stairs.

"I think he's finally chosen a side," Storm murmurs and Rogue smiles amid her tears.
