Some
writers confuse authenticity, which they ought always to aim at, with
originality, which they should never bother about.
What's New? March 2002
26 March 2002 Vic here - I've added Scalpel to the Muse's Fool . It's a Magneto fic, an answer to Khaki's Opening Line Challenge, "His blood ran down the counter like spilled milk." Gotta love Magneto. *g*
21 March 2002 Quick one - I've added One Hundred Dollars (by your humble narrator) to the Unspoken Round Robin Index. It's number 57[!] in this amazing L/R/S/J AU spawned on WRB and XMMFF. Rogue and Logan discuss <snerk> the bet.
17 March 2002 Happy St. Patrick's Day! Victoria here. I've finally gotten around to updating "In Their Own Words." This time, we have Elizabeth, who is well-known in various fandoms, including Roswell, X-Men, Angel and boyband slash. It's sort of her fault I started writing Logan/Rogue fanfic, because I was so blown away by her story "Safety in Numbers." So be nice to her. *g*
11 March 2002 Hey there, all you greasers. I've updated The Muse's Fool, adding Time's Fool (I guess I'm fond of fools, being one myself so often. *g*) to the X-Men Stories Index. I guess I'm just an updating fool tonight. Gah. You should shoot me for that one. *g*
6 March 2002 Pete here. I've got several updates for y'all today. First, I've updated the Call Waiting Archive with my latest, Call Waiting - Oz. That makes two entries for the Oz-meister, and we've yet to come up with even one for Buffy. What's that about? I also updated my own site with a couple of new stories. Coming Out is about Xander and Willow's daughter Jessie sitting her parents down for an important chat. You might remember Jessie from I Won't Be Afraid. My other story, No Pain, No Gain, is the first in what I'm hoping to turn into a new series where the narrators are outsiders looking in at the world the Scooby Gang lives in. In other news, we've finally decided to let Pete Milan into the big time and graced him with a spot on the front page of the Unfit empire. What can I say, his whining and pleading was just too much for us. Not to mention the flowers and cookies the man was sending! We had to take pity on the big lug before he embarrassed himself. Go on over and check out his website, Recurring Dreams, and then tell him what a great writer he is. And if you want to get on him about finishing up Wisdom Of The Fool, Folly Of The Wise, I'm sure not going to stop you.
